Baker Lyman's ISM-compliant program ensures all onboard charts and publications are kept to the most current edition. Our program tracks every chart and pub on your vessel — monitoring edition dates, purchase dates, and invoice dates — and notifies you when new editions are issued, before you sail.
This service is used by commercial fleets throughout the Gulf Coast and beyond to maintain ISM compliance and sail confidently into any port state control inspection.

Baker, Lyman & Co. has been adjusting compasses since the company's founding over a century ago. We provide certified compass adjustment services for commercial vessels operating on inland waterways and coastal routes — swinging and adjusting magnetic compasses to USCG standards.
A proper deviation card is issued for every vessel we work on. Service is available coast to coast — call us to discuss your location and schedule.

Baker Lyman offers repair and servicing for traditional navigational instruments. We specialize in compass repair and can assist with or source specialist repair for sextants, chronometers, clocks, and binoculars.
Whether you need a compass repaired, a sextant serviced, or a chronometer looked at, bring it to us. If it's outside our in-house capability, we'll find the right specialist and coordinate the repair on your behalf.
